Church Farm Annex - Ripon

Our stay at the Church Farm Annex in Ripon was a delightful experience for our large family. Despite being a small annex, it felt surprisingly spacious and cozy. The layout was well-designed, making excellent use of the space. The windows allowed plenty of natural light and beautiful views. We appreciated the comfortable sofa and well-placed TV. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials and everything worked well. The fast WiFi was a bonus, although it occasionally lost connection. The bathroom, though nestled in the sloping roof space, provided ample room and a large walk-in cupboard for clothes. The bedroom was comfortable and had a good-sized layout. the cleanliness and attention to detail were exceptional throughout our stay.

For families with children, it would have been helpful to have a clothes airer. My children wished there was one available for drying their clothes after outdoor activities.

The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including some nice extra touches like breakfast foods and toiletries. the location was perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions such as Fountains Abbey and Harrogate. the views from the upstairs bedroom were absolutely stunning, with beautiful landscapes and pastures to enjoy.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the extensive breakfast options provided, including homemade raspberry jam and fresh eggs. The nearby Sawley Arms restaurant also had excellent vegetarian options.

Felt like a home away from home with exceptional care and attention to details.

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to various attractions such as Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, and Ripley. the cottage itself is lovely, with a well-equipped kitchen that includes breakfast goodies and toiletries. the upstairs bedroom offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape and has an en-suite shower. the owners go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, even babysitting pets while guests enjoy a meal at the nearby Sawley Arms.
